Reveal Your Best Skin Yet: Everything You Need to Know About The Perfect Peel
At Timeless Aesthetics, we’re passionate about offering skin treatments that truly deliver real results - and The Perfect Peel is one of our favourite tools to use.
We’ve been using this peel for the past 10 years, but it was recently featured on Olivia Attwood’s TV show The Price of Perfection (available on ITVX), And since then, this powerful chemical peel has been making waves.
But what is The Perfect Peel, what skin concerns can it treat, and how do you now if it’s right for you?
What is The Perfect Peel?
The Perfect Peel is a medical-grade chemical peel that combines powerful ingredients, including Glutathione, a master antioxidant, plus salicylic acid, TCA, retinoic acid, kojic acid, and vitamin C.
This blend works together to exfoliate dead skin cells at a deeper level, boost collagen production, and brighten dull skin, helping you achieve smoother, brighter, tighter more radiant skin.
What does it treat?
Whether you want to refresh your skin or target a specific concern, The Perfect Peel is ideal for:
-
Acne and acne scarring
-
Hyperpigmentation and sun damage
-
Melasma
-
Fine lines and wrinkles
-
Large pores
-
Uneven skin tone
-
Rough skin texture
-
Dull, tired-looking skin
Who is it suitable for?
One of the reasons The Perfect Peel is so popular and that we’ve used it for a decade in clinic is that it’s safe and suitable for all skin types and ethnicities.
If you’re unsure whether it’s right for you, we will assess skin during your pre treatment consultation.
What is the downtime like?
After your treatment you will go home with the peel on your skin along with home care instructions. The peel can be washed off the following morning.
On day 2 the skin will look flushed, with no peeling. On day 3 your skin will begin to peel, with peeling lasting up to 7 days. Peeling usually starts around the mouth, gradually progressing outwards towards the hair line.
Clear aftercare instructions are given to keep you comfortable and help you get the best results.
What results can you expect?
Clients often notice brighter, clearer, tighter smoother skin after just one peel.
For concerns like acne scarring or stubborn pigmentation, a course of peels may be recommended. The results? Glowing, rejuvenated skin that looks and feels healthier.
How much does it cost?
One peel is £300, which will usually last 12 months.
For specific problem concerns a course of 3 maximum can be taken.
When is the best time to peel?
We recommend scheduling your Perfect Peel in September or October, known here at Timeless as Peel Season.
The cooler months are ideal for chemical peels as your skin will have less sun exposure during the healing process.
It’s the perfect time to refresh your complexion after summer and head into autumn and the festive season glowing with confidence.
